Environmental Integrated Contingency Plan
The Environmental Integrated Contingency Plan includes the Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plan. This plan delineates responsibilities, identifies facilities, and establishes procedures for responding to releases of oil and/or hazardous materials at Stennis Space Center. This includes hazardous material incidents involving fire or explosion, or the imminent threat thereof.

Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Waste, and Solid Waste Plan
This plan is a guide to the proper handling and disposal of hazardous material, hazardous waste, universal waste, and non-hazardous solid waste at Stennis Space Center. It is designed to provide NASA, resident agencies and contractors with consistent procedures for handling and disposal of these materials. It also provides guidance on compliance with regulations, effective management of various types of waste, and minimization of material usage through on-going activities such as substitution, reduction, process improvement, redistribution, and recycling.

Lead Hazard Control Program Plan
This Stennis Space Center plan establishes procedures and documentation requirements that provide safety and environmental controls for operations involving lead-containing materials. It also defines responsibilities for persons working with lead.

Asbestos Hazard Control Plan
This Stennis Space Center plan establishes procedures and documentation requirements that provide safety and environmental controls for operations involving asbestos-containing materials (ACM). ACM was used in the construction of many of the buildings at SSC during the 1960's and 1970's. It was primarily used for its insulating properties and its resistance to fire and corrosion. ACM is found in the following applications: surfacing material, thermal system insulation such as pipe and duct insulation, and miscellaneous ACM such as floor tiles, ceiling tiles, and transite water piping.
Energy-Efficiency and Water Conservation 5-Year Plan
This plan outlines the requirements and establishes timelines for achieving objectives and targets for reducing energy consumption, energy costs, consumption of natural resources, and air emissions at Stennis Space Center. The energy and water conservation program is intended to enable the accomplishment of the SSC missions in a more efficient and earth-friendly manner.
